1.Scientific and Technological Background
New Vision’s Magical World technology is in the scope of Augmented Reality.Augmented Reality, as AR, is one of research hot spots by several well-known foreign universities in the past few years. However, this subject involves many complex fields such as the image of graphics, visualization technology, sensor technology, real-time interactive technology, 3D animation technology, etc, therefore the study abroad is continuously improved, and the applied field is also targeted at the high end field such as the medical research and anatomy training, precision equipment manufacturing and maintenance, military aircraft navigation, engineering design and robot remote control. By use of computer graphics and visualization technologies, Augmented Reality produces virtual object which doesn’t exist in the reality, and “put” this virtual object correctly “into” a real environment through sensing technology; and then integrates it with the real environment by display equipment to present a true sensory effect of the new environment to users. Therefore Augmented Reality System has the new features of combination of the artificial and the real, real-time interactive, three-dimensional registration and strong sense of immersing.
